The Puffin 42 has entered a new phase. While her hull will remain bare aluminium, the entire superstructure and cockpit will soon be beautifully painted.
With the hull now complete and the first steps taken in technical installation and interior construction, it’s time to start fairing. The first layer of filler is being applied to the deck and cockpit to prepare for a smooth, clean finish.
Next will come the primer coats, followed later by the final paint job, but that’s still a little while off.
